Home Tour to be held Sunday, December 8 By Richard Swartz The First Annual Adair County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Home Tour will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1-4pmCT after a ten year hiatus. Tammy Stotts and I, along with the Adair County Chamber of Commerce, would like to invite everyone to join us. There will be five beautiful residences on the tour this year. I have always dreamt of having a home on the tour since moving to Columbia in 2008. The nostalgia of Christmas in Columbia at that time was so warm and inviting when the Adair County Womens Club hosted the event annually. Many of them were close friends of mine, granted most of them I knew are gone now. I always expressed to them then, how much I would love to have a home here and be a part of the tradition. We would like to create that same nostalgia for all of our residents and local businesses. We are so grateful to each of them for graciously opening their homes to our community for this fundraiser. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at Southern Nest Realty (Columbia Office), RLS Studio Salon, the Adair County Chamber of Commerce, or at any of the five residences the day of the tour. At my home, refreshments will be provided for anyone in attendance. This story was posted on 2024-11-28 00:13:46
