Bill Miller, Sr, 78, Green County, KY (1946-2024) William Russell Miller, Sr. of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late L.C. and Elizabeth Jeffries Estes, was born on June 11, 1946 in Green County, Kentucky. He departed this life on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his residence having attained the age of 78 years, five months and 12 days. He served his Country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed history, reading and gardening. His dog, Biscuit, was his loyal companion. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: William Russell "Billy" Miller, II and Vanessa of Greensburg, and Michael Thomas Miller and Caitlin Goodwin of Campbellsville; two daughters and sons-in-law: Shelly and Chris Boils of Campbellsville, and Tara and Chris Decker of Greensburg; 14 grandchildren: Fasha Bond, Dylan Boils, Keidlan Boils, Joshua Miller, DeAndrea Larimore, Cameron Sawyer, Cambria Laramore, Connor Laramore, Gracie Miller, Kager Miller, River Miller, Sage Miller, Eden Ardnt and Trayon Jayn; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Mike and Becky Estes of Hodgenville; six sisters and three brothers-in-law: Jayne Allen of Winchester, Vanita Holt of Knoxville, Carolyn and Tony Ford of Bardstown, Mary Jo Holloway, Sherry and Tim Gupton, and Peggy and James Sharpe all of Greensburg; plus a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson: Hunter Benham; and two brothers-in-law: John Allen and Jack Holt. The funeral services will be conducted at 11amCT on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Stanley Milby officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Greasy Creek Cemetery.
