Delbert Pierce, 82, Russell County, KY (1942-2024)

Delbert Pierce, age 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, November 15 2024 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, February 10 1942, in Jamestown, Kentucky.

He was retired from General Electric, was a veteran of the United States Army of the Methodist Faith.


He was the son of Ivory Learl Mason Pierce and Lennie A. Pierce, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include:

His wife - Margaret Wooldridge Pierce of Russell Springs, KY

2 Sisters: Cola Faye Davis, of Louisville KY; and Donna Jean Martin, of Jamestown KY

1 Brother: Mitchell Pierce, of Jamestown KY

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Marshall Pierce and a sister Jewell Conner. Pallbearers are: Nathan Bradshaw, Vic Cooper, Jr., Zach VanArsdale, Brian Pierce, Morris Whittle and Taylor Cundiff.

Military Honors performed by the Russell County Honor Guard.

Funeral services will be 1pmCT Tuesday, November 19 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be at 11 Tuesday.

Interment will be in Dixon Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.
