Free lunch and learn for seniors at Extension Office

A free Senior Resource Summit is being held today, Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairgrounds Street, Columbia. The event is designed to help guide seniors, their families, and caregivers on services and products that will enrich the lives of the aging population in our community.

Lunch will be provided by Adair County Homemakers and more than 20 vendors will be available to answer questions. Scheduled speakers and topics follow.

Lunch was provided by the Adair County Homemakers at the informational Senior Summit Friday. On the menu were: Chicken noodle soup, Vegetable beef and Plain vegetable soups, Potato soup, Taco soup, Chicken Gnocchi, and Chili. There were also sandwiches - bologna, turkey, and ham. All that plus cookies, coffee, water, and tea.
