KY 1323 and KY 2968 to be reduced to 1 lane next week From Amber Hale Somerset, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that beginning next week, KY 1323 and KY 2968 in Adair County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform bridge deck restorations. On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, crews will reduce KY 1323 to one lane at the Bull Run Creek bridge (mile point 0.41) located between KY 206 and Chickadee Lane. Then, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, KY 2968 traffic will also be reduced to one lane on the Louie B Nunn Cumberland Expressway overpass located between White Oak Church Road and Otha Bryant Road (mile point 1.43). Temporary traffic signals will be in place for the lane closures on both routes. Both projects are expected to be completed November 27, 2024, but the duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination. This story was posted on 2024-10-25 13:42:50
