Fish Fry and Benefit Quarter Auction on Nov 2 From Steven Baker Friends Helping Friends is having a benefit Quarter Auction starting at 5pmCT next Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Bingo Hall. All the money raised from the Quarter Auction will be donated to the Mark Twain Shrine Club and Kosair for Kids. If people or businesses would like to donate items to the Quarter Auction they can contact me Steven Baker at 270-250-4560. The doors will open at 4pmCT on Saturday, with the Valley of the Cumberland DeMolay having a fish fry fundraiser. There will be fish or chicken strips, slaw, and hush puppies. The Bingo Hall is located at 15 Shady Lane, Columbia, KY. A Quarter Auction works like a live raffle. You buy a "bidding" paddle for $5. Every item we have will be .25 to $1 each. If the item is a quarter and you want to bid on it, you put your quarter in the jar. If I draw your number and you've put your money in, you win that item for a quarter. If not, you have donated that money. This story was posted on 2024-10-25 12:04:15
