Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest

By Kim Harwood, Executive Director
Edmonton Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce

The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce will host Trick or Treat on the Square this year with businesses, clubs & churches set up in the Courtyard to pass out treats. Decorating the Square is underway, and all the businesses are looking great (a lot of amazing displays off the square as well)!

The Chamber will host a pumpkin decorating contest for our younger Metcalfe County students' grades K - 4. The pumpkin may be decorated with paint, markers, crayons, stickers, fabric, or carved with the help of an adult.

The categories will be: Spookiest, Most Creative, Funniest

Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places in all categories and a gift bag full of Halloween goodies to the 1st place winners!

Please bring your entries to the Chamber of Commerce Office on the square beside Subway Thursday, October 24th & Friday, October 25th, by 4pm. Winners will be announced Friday afternoon so the winners may enjoy their Halloween goodies.

The pumpkin entries will be used in the courtyard as decorations after the contest. Pumpkins may be picked up from the courtyard after Halloween. Those not picked up will be thrown away at the end of the day November 1st.
