CACVFD responds to structure fire on Jones Chapel Rd.

Columbia Adair County Fire Department

On Friday, October 18, 2024, the Columbia - Adair County Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 13:13 hours to 2791 Jones Chapel Road for a report of a lawn mower on fire under the back deck of the home.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a working structure fire, with heavy fire conditions coming from the side of the residence. Fire crews made an offensive attack on the fire, and it was quickly brought under control. Firefighters then conducted an overhaul to help prevent a rekindle.


There were 9 firefighters on scene for approximately 2.5 hours. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
