CPD: Two arrested for possession outside Judicial Center

On Tuesday morning, October 15, 2024, officers from the Columbia Police Department were called to the city parking lot off of Merchant Street after a report of small children alone in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Officers located the children safely, and soon found and made contact with a female who was sleeping inside a parked vehicle.

K9 Unit Cally alerted on the automobile, and a search of the vehicle yielded findings of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Female claimed narcotics were not hers but belonged to a male subject who was inside the Adair Judicial Center. The male subject denied ownership of paraphernalia and narcotics inside the vehicle.


Adrienne Faulkner, 37, of Greensburg and Wendell Reynolds, 42, of Campbellsville, have both been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Faulkner additionally has been charged with two counts of wanton endangerment.

The children were released to their father.

Officer Trevor Foster was the arresting Officer. He was assisted on scene by Lt Justin Cross and Chief Evan Burton.
