Artists in all areas invited to meeting Thursday

From Joyce Coomer

The Adair County Arts Council, "Embracing the Arts In and Around Adair County," will be meeting in the Welcome and Development Center at 5pmCT on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Everyone is welcome.

Park in back for the meeting in the lower level at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, Ky. All areas of the arts are invited to participate - music, visual, writing, dance, theater.

Mig Feuser posted a short wrap up of last month's Arts Council meeting:

"Lance Burton and Pamela Hoots joined us, and we start now exploring the possibilities to save the theater in Columbia. It could be the stage for endless events, from giving young magicians a chance to perform in front of an audience, bands, theaters and choirs to perform, and so on. We can't give up on our culture, especially as it's cancelled on too many places already.

"We would love to see as many of you as possible at the next meeting."
