KBC Blood Drive on October 8 From Debbie Morrow There will be a community blood drive from 1pmCT to 5pmCT on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Columbia Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 501 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY. In recognition of national awareness of cancer in September and October, all donors who give blood will receive a "Fight Cancer" T-shirt as a thank you for their lifesaving donation. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
