Relief efforts beginning at Columbia Christian Church

Columbia Christian Church is starting collections for Hurricane Helene victims relief.

This first round includes water, personal toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies - all things needed for immediate cleanup.

The Trailer they want to fill will be at the Church parking lot on the LWC side, 206 Campbellsville Street, for drop off starting Wednesday morning, October 2, 2024.

Church volunteers will take care of delivery. Call Richard Phelps, team leader of church benevolent work for more information, 270-388-1162, or the church at 202-384-2612.

Drop off spot for donations to storm victims

Columbia Christian Church is accepting donations to be taken to Hurricane Helene victims. The drop spot trailer is located at 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia. This first round of needs include water, personal toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies - all things needed for immediate cleanup.

First relief trailer nearly full after 8 hours

This first trailer was filling up after only eight hours Wednesday and the Columbia Christian Church sends a message of deep gratitude to all who helped. A second trailer is ready to fill as this one leaves out in the morning. Drop off donations at the Church parking lot on the LWC side, 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia. Mark Meyer, Chris Bragg and Richard Phelps are heading to Newport, Tennessee Thursday morning to make the first deliver thanks to the support of everyone in this community effort!

Supplies delivered to help storm victims

Richard Phelps, Mark Meyer and Chris Bragg are pictured with a group that Columbia Christian Church delivered supplies to in Hartford, Tennessee. Things were gathered that can hopefully help victims restart after being hit by the hurricane. Items were distributed last week, the first of more trailers being loaded in Columbia as this is printed.
