Apple Festival is this weekend in Liberty

Liberty Tourism & Convention Commission announces the celebration of the Casey County Apple Festival's 50th anniversary in downtown Liberty, KY, this weekend September 26-28, 2024.

Apple Festival booklets are available to pick up for FREE at City Hall, available 8-4:30 Monday-Friday, 518 Middleburg St Liberty KY. Event higlights follow:


Thursday, September 26 - Vendors open for business, Apple Peeling Contest, Dinosaur Encounter Show, Magic Show, Carnival, Serving of the Giant Pizza, and two Stages of Great Music!

Friday, September 27 - Vendors, Prep for Apple Pie, Stick Horse Race, Dinosaur Encounter Show, Magic Show, Hula Hoop Contest, Greasy Pig Contest, Apple Eating Contest, Dog Show, Carnival, Parade, Wrestling, and Great Music on Both Stages!

Saturday, September 28 - Vendors, 5K Run/Walk, Tae Kwon Do Demo, Pie Bake Off, Look A Like Contest, Car Show, Strongest Man Contest, Mullet Contest, Cutting of The World's Largest Apple Pie, Nail Driving Contest, Corn Hole Tournament, Frog Jumping Contest, Carnival, Magic Apple Contest, Pedal Tractor Pull, Bicycle Race, Big Wheel Race, Cloggers, Hot Air Balloons, Square Dancing, Great Music on Both Stages, and a Spectacular Fireworks Show.
