Golf: LWC reigns at Fall Classic The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team placed finished first at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Classic Tuesday at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team opened its 2024-25 season by capturing the Fall Classic title while posting the lowest three-round score in program history, surpassing the 865 which was set in August of 2022. The Blue Raiders women finished with an even-par 864 (293-280-291) finishing 135 shots better than runner-up Mars Hill (NC). The Blue Raiders men carded a 51-under par 801 (263-261-277) finishing 49 shots better than runner-up Truett McConnell. Lindsey Wilson's three-round score of 801 is the second-lowest score in program history. The Lindsey Wilson B team posted finished tied for fourth with an 855 (283-287-285). The men are back in action Oct. 7 for the Music City Collegiate in Dickson, TN, while the Blue Raiders women return to action on Monday at The City With the Spirit Fall Classic in Cleveland, TN.
