Sept 14 Saturday Session on Land Records Using Land Records in Your Research--Deeds, Mortgages, Tax Lists, Land Grants, Plat Maps, and More By Mike Watson The next Saturday Session of the Adair County Genealogical Society will take place from NoonCT until 2pmCT on September 14, 2024, at the Adair Genealogy & History Research Center, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. The class is open to any and all who have an interest in land research, including deeds, mortgages, tax lists, land grants, plat maps, and more. Deeds and associated records will be covered in detail. This class is for the beginner as well as the seasoned researcher. Handouts will be provided. Attendees may wish to bring their laptop or other devices to take advantage of wifi. Also useful: notebook, pencil/pen. For more information, email adairgenealogy@gmail.com or call 270-380-1024.
