Wildlife Food Plot Establishment Workshop on Sept. 3 By Nick Roy Adair County Extension Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources The Extension Office will host a Wildlife Food Plot Establishment Workshop at 6:30pmCT on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This workshop is perfect for hunters and landowners looking to enhance their properties by establishing food plots that support wildlife. The workshop will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, located at 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY 42728. Participants will learn the fundamentals of creating successful food plots, including site selection, soil fertility, fertilizer applications, species selection, weed control, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to wildlife management, this workshop will provide the essential knowledge to get started.
