ACSO: Collision with injuries on Sparksville Road

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at around 5:55 pm, Adair County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Camfield received a call of a two-vehicle collision on Sparksville Road 10 miles south of Columbia.

Upon his arrival, Deputy Camfield found that a 2011 Nissan Altima operated by Heather Morrison, 29, of Columbia, and a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire operated by Jaylen Holmes, of Columbia, met in a curve and hit head on.

Injured parties were treated on scene by Adair County EMS and transported to TJ Health Columbia.


Responding agencies included the Adair County Sheriff's Office, Adair County 911, Adair County EMS, and Columbia Adair Fire Department.

Deputy Camfield is continuing the investigation.
