Summer Theatre: The Miss Firecracker Contest

TheatreFest!, the Summer Theatre at Lindsey Wilson College, will present The Miss Firecracker Contest by Beth Henley August 1, 2, 3, & 4, 2024!

Step into the charming world of small-town Mississippi with The Miss Firecracker Contest by Beth Henley! Join Carnelle Scott on her hilarious quest to reclaim her pride and win the local beauty pageant. Filled with quirky characters, heartfelt moments, and Henley's signature wit, this play promises a delightful exploration of ambition, identity, and the bonds of community. Don't miss out on this unforgettable theatrical experience that will leave you laughing and reflecting long after the curtain falls!

Performances of The Miss Firecracker Contest will take place at 7pmCT nightly on August 1, 2, and 3, 2024 and at 2pmCT on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in V.P. Henry Auditorium, located inside the L.R. McDonald Administration Building on the Campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Tickets are available online at www.theatrefest.org and will be available at the door.
