Tom Farlee, 83, Cumberland County, KY (1941-2024)

Delton Ray "Tom" Farlee of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, having attained the age of 83 years, 2 months, and 1 day.

He was of the Christian faith, and a faithful Pastor of Pittman Creek Holiness Church. He was born on Tuesday, May 27, 1941 in Glasgow, Kentucky, the Son of Erbie & Thelma (White) Farlee.


In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Sandy Farlee and Arnold Farlee, sister-in-law, Wilma Farlee, Margaret Farlee, sisters, Louise Vibbert, Shirley Lauderdale, Brothers-in-law Dent Vibbert, and Morris Stilts, and son-in-law, Mitchell Ayers.

He is survived by His wife Joan (Branham) Farlee, whom he wed on Wednesday April 10, 1968, children, Patricia Farlee of Burkesville, Kentucky, Donna (& Harold) Hicks of Monticello Kentucky, Rebecca (& Douglas) Raynor of Decaturville, Tennessee, Rosetta (& Chad) Secula, Holly (& Jonathan) Adams, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, sister, Margaret Stilts of Burkesville Kentucky, grandchildren, Isaiah, Emily, Erbien, Jase, Makinleigh, Destiny, Tricia, and eleven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11amCT in the Memory Chapel of the Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Secula, Bro. Larry Shemwell officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 12noon, until the funeral hour on Thursday morning. Burial will be in the Farlee Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
