Ricky Burress, 56, Taylor County, KY (1967-2024) Ricky Burress, 56, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of Jerry Lee Burress and Edith Marie Gaddis Burress was born December 30th, 1967, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, July 22nd, 2024. Ricky earned his bachelor's degree in social work from Campbellsville University. He later earned his master's degree in social work from Capella University. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He enjoyed watching University of Kentucky Basketball. He enjoyed music and loved playing his guitars. He professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God. Besides his parents, Ricky is survived by: Two children: Taylor Allen Burress and his wife, Kaylee; and Tabitha Criley and her husband, Brent, all of Campbellsville Two grandsons: Owen Burress and Colson Burress, both of Campbellsville One brother and one sister: Keith Burress and his wife, Missy, of Elk Horn; and Trudy Kemp and her husband, Billy, of Bowling Green Two nieces: Zoe Bontrager and her husband, James; and Zann Yoder and her husband, Eugene, all of Elk Horn FUNERAL: Friday, July 26th, 2024 at 11amET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Bro. John Butler will be officiating. VISITATION: Thursday, July 25th, 2024 from 5-8.
