Green River Band wins opportunity to compete again

From Craig Dean

The Green River Band members can't thank everyone enough for all the support in the Battle of the Bands Facebook portion of the contest in conjunction with River Festivus in Burkesville KY.

We came in at second place and will perform in the Battle of the Bands on Friday, August 16, 2024 starting at 6pmCT for a chance to win and open for the Marshall Tucker Band on Saturday.

The five bands competing will be judged by the Festivus team of judges and the winner will be crowned 2024 BATTLE OF THE BANDS CHAMPIONS and get to open up for the Marshall Tucker Band on the main stage on Saturday the 17th.

We are so appreciative of everyone's vote, helping to get us there! Now we need one more favor! We need all of the Green River Band faithfuls to show up and show out on August 16! Let's get "rowdy on the river" and win this thing! Thanks again everyone!
