CPD: Three-vehicle injury accident By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department On Monday, July 22, 2024, the Columbia Police responded to a three-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of West Frazier Street and Burkesville Street.' A 2016 Ford Focus operated by Angela Pierce 55, of Columbia, and a 2011 Chevrolet Colorado operated by Daniel Roy, 28, were stopped on Burkesville Street. A 2014 Ford F550 operated by Joshua Shelton 31, of Nicholasville, was traveling north on Burkesville Street and failed to stop striking both the Ford Focus and Chevrolet Colorado. Pierce was transported by Adair County EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment. Officer Jay Williams was the investigating Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officers Columbia Police Department, Columbia Fire Department, Adair Sheriff's Office, and Adair County EMS. This story was posted on 2024-07-23 09:39:54
