Patricia Rose Matney, 67, Green County, KY (1956-2024) Patricia Rose Morgan Matney of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Udell Wayne Morgan and Ruby Marie Blaydes Morgan, was born on Wednesday, November 21, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana and departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her home. She was 67 years, 7 months, and 15 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of AVision Lumber, alongside of her husband for many years. She was also a loving and devoted wife, mom, and nanny. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony Matney, Sr. on March 4, 2024, having united in marriage on October 29, 1992. Survivors include two sons: Rodney Parrish and Tony Matney, Jr. both of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Hannah Parrish, Jon Parrish, Raelyn Matney all of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren: Noah Parrish, Leah Rose Parrish both of Greensburg, Layla Parrish of Campbellsville; a sister and brother-in-law: Sue and Jerry Hall of Summersville; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Roger Morgan of Louisville, Randy and Laura McDonald of Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son: Justin Wayne Parrish; a brother Dale Wayne Morgan. The funeral services for Patricia Rose Morgan Matney will be conducted at 3pmCT Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Todd Young and Bro. Neal Price officiating. Visitation is requested after 9 until time of the funeral service.
