Madeline Waltz, 100, Columbia, KY (1924-2024) Madeline Waltz of Columbia died on Friday, July 5, 2024 at her home. She was 100 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Milltown Church with Bro. Barney Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, Kentucky. Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Tuesday and from 6amCT until 8:30amCT on Wednesday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, and after 9amCT on Wednesday at the Milltown Church. Madeline was born April 14, 1924, in DePoyster, New York, to the late Glenn Thomas and June Pearl Conroy Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Waltz on September 4, 1994. Ms. Waltz was a member of Milltown Church, the first female Lieutenant in the Kentucky Corrections Cabinet, a Red Cross Nurse for blood drives, volunteered for various organizations, including Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens and Meal on Wheels, but above all she was a devoted Military Wife. Survivors include:
