Brian David Cox, 52, Campbellsville, KY (1972-2024) Mr. Brian David Cox of Campbellsville, the son of Kirby Cox and Anna Sue (Cable) Wheatley, was born April 6, 1972 in Campbellsville. He departed this life on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Louisville at the Norton Inpatient Care Pavilion. He was 52 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Elk Horn Baptist Church. Mr. Cox was a construction worker before becoming disabled. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include his parents: Kirby and Martha Cox, and Anna Sue and Cleve Wheatley, all of Campbellsville, A brother: John Alan Cox and wife Beth; step brothers and sisters: Johnathan Wheatley and wife Kasea, Alana Smith and husband Wes, Julie Kessler and husband John, Brian Woodrum and wife Vanessa and Mark Woodrum and wife Kirsten, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends. Memorials are suggested to the Hosparus Care Center at Norton's. Those can be made in person at the funeral home. L.R. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
