CPD: Felony DUI By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department responded to a single vehicle wreck on Fairground Street on Wednesday night, June 26, 2024. After making contact with vehicle operator, it was determined by the responding officer that the subject was intoxicated. The driver was placed in custody. Gerald Bruso, 65 of Russell Springs, has been charged with driving on DUI suspended license 2nd offense as well as DUI 4th; a class D felony. Officer Trent Williams was the arresting Officer.
