Debra Bunch, 55, Russell County, KY (1968-2024)

Debra Louise Bunch, of Russell Springs, passed from this life on Saturday morning, June 1, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 55 years, 7 months, and 10 days of age.

Debra was born on October 22, 1968 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Joe and Alice Foster Veatch. She was a machine operator for BRUSS North America and was a member of Parksridge Church of God. Debra adored her family and loved playing with her grandbabies. She enjoyed watching crime shows on TV. Debra had a very strong faith and loved her Jesus!


Debra is survived by her beloved husband, David Bunch, of Russell Springs; her sons, Zachariah (and Elizabeth) Bunch, and Elijah Bunch, both of Russell Springs; her brother, Matthw (and Linda) Veatch, of Russell Springs; and her grandbabies, Levi Bunch and Kamron Bunch.

Funeral services are 1pmCT Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Billy Silverman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 Tuesday, June 11, at the funeral home, and again Wednesday morning until time of services.

Pallbearers will be John Durham, Ronnie Lawless, Tim Moore, William Sneed, Jared Veatch, and Tom Bunch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Debbie Lawless and Sherry Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, Debra had requested donations to Ridge Crest Cemetery. These can be left at the funeral home.
