ACHS boys basketball update

In a battle of early state tournament contenders, the Adair County High School basketball team defeated Bowling Green of the 4th region 69-52.

The game was a first half battle with the Indians falling behind early, but they quickly rebounded with 17-0 run to put them up 8, late in the first half. The Indians were then able to out battle the Purples of Bowling Green in the second half to get the 17 point win.


The Indians were led in scoring by Connor Loy with 22, followed by Dawson Gilbert with 15. Connor Loy also led the team in rebounding with 13 followed by Lane Grant with 8. The team will do battle next with the Commanders of Washington County.
