Gladys Fae Thompson, 59, Cumberland County, KY Gladys Fae (Bruce) Thompson of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 11 days. She was born on Monday, January 18th, 1965 to John Travis and Mary Helen (Brown) Bruce. She was a Christian, a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, and a nurse practitioner for Fast Pace Urgent Care. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Keith Thompson of Burkesville, Kentucky, whom she wed Tuesday, November 20th, 1990, daughters, Ariel (& Zach) Mabe of Summershade, Kentucky, Keely Jo Thompson of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Daniel Bruce of Whitley City, Kentucky, Darrell Bruce of Stearns, Kentucky, Jeannie(Bruce) Hicks, Marilyn (Bruce) Chitwood both of Whitley City, Kentucky, John T. Bruce Jr. of Strunk, Kentucky, Alice (Bruce) Henson of Helenwood, Tennessee, Barbie (Bruce) Beaty of Winfield, Tennessee, grandchildren, Zayden Mabe, Travis Mabe, and Letty Mabe. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. Raymond Castillo and Bro. Rick Garner officiating. The family will receive friends after 4 Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the funeral home until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery in Burkesville.
