ACSO: Adair man arrested for vehicle theft

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, the Adair County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting the theft of a 2004 Toyota Highlander from a residential driveway.

Deputy Chris Tweedy initiated an investigation, and on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Deputy Teeedy and Deputy Gary Roy located and recovered the vehicle on an offroad trail in southern Adair County.

Through investigation Deputy Chris Tweedy obtained an arrest warrant for a 19 year old Adair County man.


Issac Turner of Adair County has been arrested and lodged on the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
  • Theft by unlawful taking / auto.
  • Criminal mischief 1 st degree
  • Theft of motor vehicle registration
The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
