CPD: Hit and Run driver arrested By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department responded to Parrott Avenue on Tuesday morning, May 28, 2024, for report of a hit and run with property damage. Upon arrival, severe damage was observed on storage units located on Parrott Avenue. The vehicle involved was later located at a residence on the same street, and the operator was taken into custody. Wesley Curtis, 18, of Columbia has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, criminal mischief 1st degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle and traffic offenses.
