Doug DeSpain, 63, Green County, KY (1960-2024) Sherfield Doug DeSpain of Greensburg, son of the late Sherfield Thomas DeSpain and Zenith Wynez Berry DeSpain, was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1960 in Greensburg and passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at his home. He was 63 years, six months, and three days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, also a member of Sons of American Legion Post #124. He was a retired Housekeeper for the hospital. He is urvived by his wife: Quinn Tina Judd DeSpain of Greensburg, having united marriage on March 4, 2001. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Quindolyn and David Wise of Campbellsville; a son: Jacob DeSpain of Greensburg; a grandchild: Cedar Layne Wise; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Timmy and Leah DeSpain, Don and Teresa DeSpain, Mikeal and Linda DeSpain all of Green County; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services will be conducted at 10amCT Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Greensburg United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Jason Elam and Bro. Dale Curry officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg in charge of the service arrangements. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Gideon Bible Fund or Wilson Cemetery Fund.
