Proud of Lady Indians who also made it to Elite 8 We're grateful to Amy Roy Keys who reminded us, after we posted ACHS basketball coaches who'd gone to state, "don't leave out Coach Kim Goodin's Lady Indians!" The Lady Indians of 1992 remain the only Adair County girls basketball team to have ever made it into the Elite 8. Much like the 2024 boys team, the Lady Indians made it through their first game to become part of the Elite 8. Amy remembers they lost on a last-second, three-point shot at the end of that second game. Coach Goodin's team in 1992 included: Beth Grant Ellison, Monica Rodgers Shuffett, Robin Cheatham Loy, Shannon Feese Campbell, Amy Roy Keys, Liana Critz Pippen, Telica Taylor, Crystal Miller, Nikki Cheatham Loy, Traci Young Sharpe, Keisha Cowan Baker, Rebecca Cowan Smith, Melissa Cundiff Moore and Shana Farris.
