Carroll named to Champions of Character Team for Bowling

Lindsey Wilson student-athlete Brooklynne Carroll has been named to the 2024 Mid-South Conference women's bowling Champions of Character team, officials announced Monday.

The senior, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, earns Champions of Character distinction for the first time in her career and becomes the fifth different bowler in program history to garner the honor.

The Mid-South recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

Bethel 's (Tenn.) Chloe Amick, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Mirena Combs, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Carlie Semrau, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Kiara Abanto, Midway's (Ky.) Ashley Smith, Pikeville's (Ky.) Grace Williams, Tennessee Wesleyan's Madison Bradley, and Union's (Ky.) Heaven Cooper all earned the honor.

Brooklynne and her Blue Raider teammates are set to open the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green on Thursday at Southern Lanes.
