ACHS boys basketball wins over Lakers 77-67

Friday night, the Adair County High School Indian boys defeated the Lakers of Russell County 77-67.

The team was led in scoring by Dawson Gilbert with 17 points followed by Lane Grant with 14 points. The team's leading rebounder was Brayton Coomer with 8 and two teammates having 6 a piece.

The team shot 50% from the floor, 33% from the 3 point line, and 77% from the free throw line.


Saturday night the Indians fell to 7th ranked Lyon County 98-48. Adair County fought a very hard first half but were unable to keep pace in the second half.

The Indians will be back in action Tuesday night at home as they host the Caverna Colones in a game that will feature senior night ceremonies prior to tip-off.
