Brenda Bunch, 72, Columbia, KY native (1951-2024)

Brenda Sue (Ballenger) Bunch of Jamestown passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side. She was 72 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakey Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday after 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born on March 4, 1951, in Columbia, KY to the late Carlos Nick and Ruby Christine Ballenger. She was also preceded in death by her husband Phillip Wayne Bunch.

Mrs. Bunch was of the Christian faith and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two children Shannon Johnson (Shane) of Russell Springs, KY and Douglas Bunch of Surprise, AZ and three grandchildren Austin, Aidan, and Addison Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Cole Cooper, Glen Garner, Lindsey Kerns, Brian Campbell, Gary Hadley, Michael Marcum, Dennis Graham.
