Dale Whittingham, 76, Adair County, KY Dale Whittingham, 76, of Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was a USMC Veteran of Vietnam who worked as a Draftsman for NIPSCO. He was a Ranger with the National Park Services, had been a volunteer with the Lake Eliza Fire Dept. and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his son, Bret (Bridget) Darrell of LaPorte; 3 grandchildren, Nolan, Kendall and Annalise; siblings, Candy Dexter and Wayne (Cara), all of KY, Sherry (Gary) Goodson of Hebron and Ricky (Tammy) of FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Terry; brothers, Ronald, Terry and Woody; Visitation will be Monday, February 12 from 10-1, concluding with Funeral Services at 1 PM, all at Sheets Funeral Home, www.sheetsfuneral.com. Cremation Services in Lowell, IN. Burial and Military Honors will follow in Lowell Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors.
