Letter: Inaugural Ball

Martha Henry Berry writes:
It was interesting to see that in 1978 there was an inaugural ball on the campus of Lindsey Wilson.

In 1947 (or thereabouts) my Dad was called out by the Columbia District of the Methodist Churches because he opened the gym on Sat. nights for the students to square dance. (He called them folk games) and they had to be called off. Thirty years made quite a difference.
