Hearts for residents would be appreciated

By Kim Harwood, Executive Director,
Edmonton Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce

Harper's Home is asking for donations of Valentine's cards to show residents they are loved and cared about by their community.

They currently have 18 residents. Cards may be mailed or dropped off at Harper's Home, 2905 Columbia Road, Edmonton, KY 42129. If you would like to donate candy or snacks, that would also be greatly appreciated.

The Harper's Home staff and residents want to thank everyone who donated to them for Christmas and share how much the acts of kindness meant to them. Many of the residents do not have family or their family members do not live close enough to visit them on a regular basis so extended family is a blessing.

Message from Harper's Home: "We are terribly sorry we have not been able to reach everyone separately and thank them for the Christmas donations. We are truthfully grateful and blessed to be a part of Metcalfe County and our community."
