Popplewell wins KY Auctioneer State Championship The 2024 Kentucky Auctioneer's Association annual convention was held this past weekend in Lexington, KY. Russell county native Alex Popplewell competed with top auctioneers across the state to win the Kentucky State Auctioneer Championship. Local real estate and auction company Golden Rule - Wilson Real Estate & Auction brought home three statewide advertising awards including Best Color Newspaper Real Estate Advertising, Best Radio Advertising and Best Television Advertising.
