Basketball: LWC teams defeat Campbellsville Harrodsburg

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team cruised past the Campbellsville Harrodsburg women's basketball team 104-26 on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Biggers Sports Center.

The Blue Raiders women (11-4) shot a season-high 62.7 percent from the field and made a season-high 10 shots from beyond the arc. The 26 points allowed are a season-low for Lindsey Wilson. The Blue Raiders held a 54-15 edge in rebounds.

In the seconde game of the evening, the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team defeated the Campbellsville Harrodsburg men 79-62.

Bryce Brown scored a season-high 22 points while on 8-of-14 shooting while grabbing nine rebounds. Kenyata Carbon added 16 points while Jayden Lazard scored a season-high 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting with six assists. Isaac Weaver was also in double figures with 11.

The women return to action at 2pmCT on December 29, 2023, when they host Alice Lloyd at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

The Lindsey Wilson men will have a longer break, and return to action on January 4, 2024, when they host Virginia Lynchburg at 2pmCT at Biggers Sports Center.
