Basketball: LWC falls to No. 1 Grace (IN)

The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team fell to No. 1 Grace (IN) on Tuesday evening with a score of 79-65.

After a very close first half, the Lancers were leading with a score of 40-37 by halftime. Grace shot 13-30, while the Blue Raiders were shooting 12-27. Freshman Kenyata Carbon was leading the team in points at the half with 11, followed closely by Rodney Lewis with 10. Carbon and Lewis were also leading in rebounds with three and two apiece, and Carbon led in rebounds with five. For Gace, Cade Gibbs led the team in points with 16 and Jake Wadding led in rebounds with four. Brycen Graber and Jakob Gibbs led in assists with two each.

The Blue Raiders are set to travel to Southeast Missouri State for an exhibition matchup at 3pmCT on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
