Basketball: LWC defeats Johnson 68-63

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team defeated Johnson (TN) 68-63 on Saturday at Biggers Sports Center.

The Blue Raiders (8-2) shot 38.6 percent from the field and converted on 25-of-32 shots from the charity stripe. Lucy Patterson led the way for Lindsey Wilson recording a double-double with a season-high 25 points while matching a season-high in rebounds with 13. Patterson connected on seven of her 10 shots while converting 11-14 attempts from the free-throw line. Jarie Thomas also recorded a double-double scoring a season-high 14 points and recording 10 rebounds. Taylor Guess also scored in double figures with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting.

Lindsey Wilson will be back in action at 7pmCT on December 8, 2023, when they take on Harris-Stowe State in day one of the Bethel University Classic in McKenzie, TN.
