Basketball: LWC Men complete weekend sweep in Campbellsville Campbellsville, KY - Matt Khoury scored 19 second-half points and the Blue Raiders shot 20-for-21 from the foul line as the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team routed Simmons College of Kentucky, 95-66 to finish off a weekend sweep at the Campbellsville Thanksgiving Classic. Lindsey Wilson was in control from the opening tip, despite the Falcons scoring the game's first points and shooting over 50 percent from the field for the third consecutive outing. Khoury closed with a season-high 27 with the help of seven three-pointers. At the same time, Barrett Burchyett and Connor Robinson contributed 14 points each, and Kenyata Carbon notched a near triple-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. Simmons got on the board first after 19 seconds to go ahead 2-0, but that was the only lead of the day for the Falcons after a Burchyett three-pointer gave Lindsey Wilson the edge just 26 seconds later. From there, the Blue Raiders outscored their opposition 21-4 and kept them under double-figures for the opening 10 minutes of the first half. Leading 47-27 at the break, Lindsey Wilson continued to shoot sharp to keep Simmons behind by a healthy margin. Then, with 12:14 left in regulation, a three-point shot by Khoury ignited the closing stretch that saw the Blue Raiders hit 11-of-18 on field goals, including seven from downtown to seal the deal.
