Basketball: LWC Women travel to Midway Saturday The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team hits the road Saturday to take on Midway (KY). Tipoff is scheduled for 3pmCT at the Marshall Gymnasium. Saturday's matchup is the 27th meeting all-time between the two programs. Lindsey Wilson holds a 25-1 advantage in the series. The Blue Raiders (4-2) are looking to rebound after an 85-79 loss to Alice Lloyd back on Nov. 17. Lucy Patterson led Lindsey Wilson recording a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Amelia Hodges, Jordyn Stephens, and Sydnie Hall all scored in double figures with 15, 14, and 13 respectively. As a team, Lindsey Wilson ranks 26th in the NAIA scoring 83.2 points per game. The Blue Raiders have played five of their six games away from Columbia. Lindsey Wilson is 2-1 in road games and 1-1 in neutral court games this season. The Blue Raiders are averaging 89 points per game on the road this season. Hodges leads Lindsey Wilson in road games scoring 15.3 points per game while Patterson is averaging 14 a game. Jordyn Stephens is shooting 62.5 percent from the field on the road. Midway (2-4) is coming off a 98-72 loss to Cumberlands on Tuesday. Jaiden Douthit led the Eagles scoring 15 points while Kassidy Daugherty chipped in with 12. The Eagles are averaging 70.7 points per game this season and allowing 79.2.
