Nancy Milby, 80, Green County, KY (1943-2023) Nancy Sue Vance Milby of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vora Vance and Gertrude Larimore Vance, was born on Saturday, January 2, 1943 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Green County. She was 80 years, 10 months, and 6 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Summersville Baptist Church. She was a housekeeper for Green Hill Nursing and Rehab and Taylor Regional Hospital. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Milby on January 6, 2001 having united in marriage on April 20, 1965. Survivors include a daughter: Linda Milby of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Kyle and Melissa Chase, Megan Nicole and Jason Shofner all of Summersville, Brittany and Chris Rice of Grab, Corey and Jonah Milby of Knifley, Eli Jeffries and Alexis Jeffries both of Greensburg; eight great-grandchildren: Myles Chase, Valorie Chase, Lily Rice, Ellie Rice, Nolan Rice, Allis Rice, Grady Shofner, Mariah Milby; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Janie and Jimmey Kessler, Mary Lou Vance and Ken Howard all of Greensburg. Ms. Milby was also preceded in death by a son: Joe Wayne "Torch" Milby; and one daughter: Karen Ann Milby Jeffries. The funeral services for Nancy Sue Vance Milby will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating. Visitation is requested after 9am Saturday until time of the funeral service. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
