Louise England, 82, Metcalfe County, KY (1941-2023) Alma Louise (Fields) England, age 82, of the Hickory Ridge Road area of Metcalfe County, Kentucky, passed away on Nov. 3, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1941, the daughter of Johnny Henry and Elizabeth Emaline (Mercer) Fields. She was a longtime member of the Edmonton United Methodist Church and a retired employee of the Metcalfe County Health Center. Louise loved to take pictures and record videos of friends and family and share her immense collection with anyone who would enjoy them. She also loved television game shows, especially Jeopardy, and country music, especially singer Jim Reeves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Wayne England, and siblings, Ruthie Jessie, Andrew Fields, Ruby England, Hubert Fields, Marie Fields, and Kenneth Fields. Survivors include her two sons, Tim (Carie) England, of Canton, Ohio, and Greg (Lisa) England, of Glasgow, Kentucky; grandchildren, Cassie England (Henry Trautwein IV), Heather (Daniel) Green, and Ashley (Lynn) Chapman; great-grandchildren, Quint Trautwein, Kaylynn Thomas, and Aspen Chapman. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Louise England will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with Rev. Roger McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at the Society Hill Missionary Baptist Cemetery near Edmonton. The family will receive visitors prior to the service 9-11 a.m. This story was posted on 2023-11-09 09:21:09
