Shot, Stabbed, Hanged history walk drew 140

It was a dark and rainy night - but a huge crowd came out anyway because everyone knew it would be worth a little discomfort to learn about shootings, stabbings, hangings and more from our history that happened around the Columbia Public Square.

The group of up to 140 people gathered at the Courthouse Annex steps, on the corner of the Square and Greensburg Street Friday, October 27, 2023.

The educational, historical walk was be led by historians Mike Watson and Dave Thomas.
