Soccer players developing their skills George Kolbenschlag About 120 enthusiastic young soccer players have headed to Lindsey Wilson's soccer field each Saturday this fall to sharpen their soccer skills. They are aided by Lindsey Wilson soccer coaches and players. Ranging in age from 3 to 15, the young athletes form teams and each Saturday test their skills in team competitions. Those 5-15 also meet Tuesdays for practice. This year's program ends this month, but the soccer "camp" will reconvene next fall. Th program is headed up by the women's soccer coach Drew Burwash and his wife Laura. Both are Lindsey graduates. Drew has been involved in the soccer program at the college for 25 years, and has coached the national champion woman's team for 21 years. He is very interested in seeing a soccer program at ACHS, and one of his goals with the fall soccer program is to build interest in the community by building interest and soccer skills in youngsters.
