Golf: LWC Men finish tied for 1st at Gibson Bay Invite

Richmond, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf finished tied for first at the Gibson Bay Invite at Gibson Bay Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Blue Raiders men shot a 10-over par 874 (290-287-297) on the par-72 7,035 yard course to tie with Campbellsville. Lindsey Wilson recorded the most birdies of the tournament with 43 and carded the second-most eagles with two.

The LWC women's golf team finished fourth at the Invite. The Blue Raiders women shot an 86-over par 950 (326-320-304) over the two-day event on the par 72 5,916 yard course. Lindsey Wilson moved up one spot on Tuesday to finish fourth. The women recorded the fourth-most birdies at the tournament with 22.

The Blue Raiders turn their attention to the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament which begins Monday October 30, 2023, at Bowling Green Country Club.
